Welcome! This website is designed to help you prepare to begin your new position with Furman University. We have created this site to answer many of the questions you might have.
This site includes information about class schedules, academic policies, and other resources that you might find helpful – including instructions on things like how to set up your Furman email address and how to get a campus parking pass, and details about our student body and our community.
If you have questions that the site does not answer, please feel free to contact your department chair, dean, or any of us at the Faculty Development Center (FDC), where we coordinate Furman’s orientations for new full-time and adjunct/part-time faculty and, more generally, promote engaging, inclusive and scholarly teaching.

P2X provides affordable and convenient printing and copying services for students, faculty, staff and the public.
Faculty ID cards can be acquired through the Enrollment Services Office, located in Suite 102 of the Furman Administration Building. You can find more details on the Enrollment Services website.

Furman University has partnered with Prisma Health to operate our Employee On-Site Clinic, located next door to the Human Resources Department at 5013 Old Buncombe Rd (same shopping center as the neighborhood Walmart). For more information, visit the clinic’s website.
