Although we are proud of the efforts that we have completed and that are in-progress, we at Furman University view accessibility as an ongoing effort.
Letter of Digital Accessibility Conformance
As of March 25, 2025, Furman University’s website (furman.edu) has been evaluated by Allyant, a recognized expert in digital accessibility. The site was audited using both assistive technology and digital tools by live users with disabilities.
Key Findings:
- The website is substantially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA standards.
- No accessibility blockers were found that would prevent users relying on assistive technology from accessing key content and functionality.
- Furman University has resolved all major accessibility issues within its control.
To maintain accessibility, Furman has partnered with Allyant for ongoing live-user accessibility testing and support.
