What is a Clinical Intern?
A clinical intern or fellow is a therapist-in-training who is completing their graduate degree and gaining hands-on experience under close supervision by licensed professionals. Working with an intern or a fellow offers the benefit of receiving care informed by the latest therapeutic techniques and theories, along with the added insight of multiple supervisors. Interns and fellows are deeply invested in their clients’ progress, bringing fresh energy, dedication, and a strong focus on learning and growth to their practice.
