Summer is a therapist who works to create a supportive and safe space where clients can feel comfortable exploring their concerns and experiences. She uses a bottom-up approach, helping clients build coping skills and emotional regulation while also exploring the underlying patterns and experiences that may contribute to anxiety, depression, shame, and other concerns.
Summer incorporates neurodiversity-affirming practices and evidence-based therapeutic approaches into her work. She believes therapy should be collaborative and tailored to each person, giving clients space to better understand themselves, work through difficult emotions, and make meaningful changes in their lives.
Outside of work, Summer enjoys spending time with her husband and their four-year-old son. As a family, they love exploring Greenville, trying new foods, and traveling. They especially enjoy experiencing new cultures and creating opportunities to learn and see the world from different perspectives.
