The Riley Institute’s Community Solutions Research Group promotes evidence-informed practices and policies and supports entities that serve children and families across South Carolina. We apply a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens throughout the entire research process, which impacts the projects we seek, the questions we ask, the methods we employ, and how we share results. Our commitment to equitable outcomes for all South Carolinians underlies all of our work. In this spirit, we offer the following services to our clients:
- Providing external research and evaluation services such as designing quantitative and qualitative studies, writing and negotiating data-sharing agreements, creating measurement tools, and collecting and analyzing data
- Serving as evaluation and learning partners with local nonprofit organizations
- Delivering strategic learning opportunities on topics such as logic model and theory of change development and outcome operationalization and measurement
- Facilitating educational opportunities and workshops on research and evaluation topics such as survey design, qualitative research coding, and effective data visualization techniques
