Our Health Sciences programs are designed to help our students launch health-related careers and to gain admission to graduate and professional schools. The department attracts students focused on gaining admission to competitive programs in medicine, dentistry, physical therapy, physician assistant, occupational therapy, nursing, nutrition, pharmacy, and public health.
In its most recent graduating class, 75 percent of the majors began graduate study in one of the above health-related disciplines. Nearly every major has a significant engaged learning experience through an internship or undergraduate research.
