Meetings & Conferences
Our facility can accommodate up to 500 people for lecture-style events, or can be configured for a variety of productive and fun events. We specialize in anything from receptions and seminars, to executive board meetings, outdoor picnics, luncheons and conferences–you name it! Be sure to speak with our university caterer, Furman Catering, about custom menu planning and flexible service options as well.
We are proud to offer complimentary amenities for each group including tables and chairs, built-in screens and projectors for presentation needs, wireless internet, ample parking, and onsite staff support, just to name a few. Our goal is to give you a successful, productive event with stress-free planning along the way!
Weddings, Parties, and Social Functions
Come celebrate your special occasion here at the Younts Conference Center! The facility’s Georgian-style architecture, outdoor patios and masterful landscaping provide a picturesque location for any event. Sitting on a secluded portion of Furman’s 750-acre campus and surrounded by ample free parking, the Younts Center is the perfect host for your party or dinner.
The Younts Conference Center can provide the following for your event:
- Seated dinner for up to 320 guests
- Stand-up reception for up to 500 guests
- 18’ x 21’ dance floor
- Tables, chairs, basic linens
- Infrastructure to support DJs and live bands
- Additional space for gifts, portraits, guest books, guests favors, etc.
- Large, luxurious bathroom facilities to make your guests feel comfortable
- All-inclusive pricing, including labor for basic clean-up and room set-up
- Ample parking available at no additional charge
- An event coordinator available during your entire event to help everything run smoothly
