FAQs

What are your hours of operation? 
We welcome clients to plan events that fit their schedules; early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends are all available for events.

Our normal office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please call (864-294-2390) or e-mail us to set up an appointment to tour our facilities or discuss your event plans during these hours.  Please note that due to our event schedule, we cannot always accommodate walk-in requests for tours.

Is there a charge for parking? 
No, ample on-site parking is provided at free of charge.

Do you allow off-site catering? 
All food services are provided by Furman Catering. They can design a custom menu to fit both your budget and needs.

Do you allow alcohol on the premises? 
Yes, all alcohol and beverage service is provided by Furman Catering. Full bar options are available.

Are there any additional charges for your audiovisual equipment? 
Standard use of our audio-visual equipment is included in your rental charge. Each meeting room is equipped with a built-in LCD projector with an overhead screen. Microphones and podiums are available, as are a limited number of laptop computers for presenters’ use.

Do you have a dance floor? 
Yes. The use of the Younts Center’s dance floor is included in your rental charge. The dance floor is built using 3’x3′ sections and may be up to 18’x21’ in size.

Do you provide any table or room decorations? 
Yes, table linens can be provided with food and beverage service from our catering team. Linen colors may be selected when your catering order is placed. Custom table and centerpiece decorations can be ordered as well.

Will the building be staffed during our event? 
Yes, a member of the Younts Center staff will be available during all events. Special technical or other event support staff needs should be discussed when you book space at the Younts Center.
