Application deadline is the first week in May
Apply for scholarships for yourself or your dependents to undergraduate or graduate schools, sponsored by the Staff AC. Look for email communications in the spring with link to submission form. Learn more about the Staff Community Fund Scholarship.
Submissions accepted during the month of February
An award presented to one of our colleagues at the Spring Employee Recognition Event, nominated by the staff body, to recognize outstanding work and character. Learn more about the Staff Member of the Year award.
Submissions accepted year round
An opportunity for staff members to recognize colleagues who provide exceptional service at Furman. Recipients will receive an email salute that is shared with their supervisor, the vice president of their division, and the president of Furman University. They will also be recognized during our Spring Employee Recognition Event. Submit a Furman Salute here.
First home game at Paladin Stadium
Fun for the whole family! Enjoy tailgating at the Staff AC tent prior to the game, with free food, lawn games and giveaways. Tickets to the game are free with your Furman ID and can be picked up two hours in advance of the game at the Customer Service tent at the Champions gate (be sure to stop by HR for a numbered dependent sticker in order to get multiple tickets). We hope you’ll make plans to join us!
Hear updates from the president, Human Resources and other campus representatives, recognize new hires and alumni on staff celebrating reunion years, and participate in door prize drawings.
Homecoming Friday, during the carnival
Swing by the Staff AC tent during the homecoming carnival for free food and drink tickets, in addition to other goodies for the whole family.
