Socktober is a worldwide initiative to provide socks and other rarely donated items to the homeless community. In 2021, the Staff Advisory Council organized and promoted the month-long event for the first time at Furman, setting up collection points around campus and encouraging the Furman family to participate. As an added incentive, staff members received a free pair of Diamond F socks to help raise awareness of the event, and many staff members shared photos of the socks around campus. Enjoy!
