Join the faculty and students of Furman University for Furman String Day, an exciting one-day event for high school string musicians in grades 9–12.

Open to students in grades 8-12 who are interested in studying voice and sharpening their performance skills. This one-day workshop will prepare students for competition, college auditions, and school performances. Sessions are available for both teachers and students.

Saturday, October 17, 2026

All high school pianists who are considering a music major in college are welcome to join us for Furman Piano Day. Parents and teachers are also invited for the day, especially for the Q&A session about the audition process.

Thursday, November 19-Friday, November 20, 2026

Open to high school students (9th-12th grade) nominated by their band directors. Registration is open for nominated students. More information is available on the Furman Honor Band Symposium webpage.
