The Student Accountability Hearing Board seeks responsible students who have excellent leadership and communication skills, who practice personal and professional integrity, who are committed to teamwork, and who have an interest in making a difference in the Furman community.
Communities form around agreed upon expectations of membership. Accountability to those expectations allows the community and its members to thrive. Serving on the Board is a chance to play a pivotal role in the life of Furman. And, employers and graduate schools are actively seeking undergraduates who have excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-management skills as well as the ability to think critically and work cooperatively with others. These are skills Board members put into practice routinely.
