The Office of Alcohol and Drug Education coordinates a proactive, comprehensive approach to meeting student’s health and wellness needs by addressing the dangers of alcohol and drug use/abuse. The mission of the office is to prevent and reduce underage drinking, high-risk drinking, illegal drug use and the related social harm for students. The office works collaboratively with the university and surrounding community to promote low-risk alcohol and drug choices and support responsible decision-making by Furman students. One-on-one counseling, as well as referral for drug screenings and assessments, are available.
