Annual Performance Evaluation

The Annual Performance Evaluation is a comprehensive tool for supervisors to evaluate a staff member’s performance during a review period and identify objectives for development. It is intended to facilitate meaningful communication between a supervisor and a staff member regarding the supervisor’s performance expectations and the staff member’s work, individual and departmental goals, and the staff member/supervisor relationship.

Completing the Evaluation Process in Workday

Instructions for completing the written evaluation are on the Performance Review Overview page of the Workday Help @ Furman blog.  Network credentials are required.

Step 1: Review and Select Competencies with Staff Member

Step 2: Start Performance Review – Supervisor

Step 3: Set Review Content (Identify Goals) – Staff Member

Step 4: Set Review Content (Review Staff Member Goals) – Supervisor

Step 5: Get Feedback or Skip Feedback – Supervisor

Step 6: Complete Manager Evaluation – Supervisor

Step 7: Provide Employee Comments – Staff Member

Step 8: Provide Manager Comments and Submit – Supervisor
