Davies Idea Exchange

The Davies Idea Exchange, located in Hipp Hall, serves as a campus hub for collaborative thought, exploration, and entrepreneurial education for students, faculty, and staff.

Lined with whiteboards and open seating, the Davies Idea Exchange promotes a campus culture of innovation that contributes to entrepreneurship in Greenville and beyond.

The Davies Idea Exchange is the namesake of Gary ’90 and Kristin ’89 Davies, who provided the naming gift of the space on campus to further entrepreneurial education and community impact.

Entrepreneur-In-Residence Program

Mentoring from seasoned innovators, entrepreneurs and business executives.

Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) program offers Furman students, faculty, staff and alum opportunities to receive one-on-one mentoring from a diverse group of entrepreneurs, non-profit leaders and business executives. The purpose of this program is to provide coaching and feedback about the startup process and paths.

Entrepreneurs in Residence have a wealth of experience in facilitating the development of innovative ideas, new venture development and advising innovators across industries.
