  • Talk to the right people who can help get them financial support
  • Create a personal budget  
  • Understanding that good habits build momentum overtime 
  • Try to pay off credit cards in full every month
  • Monitor their spending and bank accounts  
  • Save money where they can
  • Asks themselves, “do I really need this?”

  • Have a savings account 

Check in with your financial wellbeing by asking yourself these questions:

  • Do I track my spending and create a monthly budget?
  • Do I set aside money for savings whenever I get a paycheck?
  • Do I seek out resources to help my financial literacy and competency?
  • Do I use a credit card responsibility and try to live within my means?

These are easy things you can do to better your financial wellbeing.

  • Try creating a monthly budget for yourself
  • Go to an event on campus that doesn’t cost anything
  • Limit eating out and find ways to reduce expenses 
    • Instead, try cooking a meal with friends
  • Go to the bank and talk to a financial advisor
  • Create a savings account in your name
