Spend a Day Making Music at Furman—and Perform It That Afternoon!

Join the faculty and students of Furman University for Furman String Day, an exciting one-day event for high school string musicians in grades 9–12.

In just one day, you’ll rehearse with fellow string players, work with Furman’s outstanding string faculty in instrument-specific sectionals, hear performances and insights from Furman students and faculty, and perform the music you’ve prepared for family and friends in a culminating concert.

Along the way, you’ll experience a day in the life of a Furman music student, meet fellow musicians from across the region, and connect with local music organizations and sponsors.

Registration includes all music, lunch, and an exclusive Furman String Day T-shirt.

Open to violin, viola, cello, and double bass students in grades 9–12.

Register today—we can’t wait to make music with you!
