Many congratulations on qualifying for Dean’s List in the fall 2021 semester, an honor that points to your many academic talents and accomplishments. The honor is awarded to full-time undergraduates who earn a grade point average of at least 3.4 during the university’s fall and spring semesters. The students, who are listed alphabetically by state, represent 38 states and 16 foreign countries.
While my colleagues and I firmly believe that students’ pathways are much more than a series of courses, semesters, and grades, we are just delighted that you were able to achieve such a high level of performance. It is particularly impressive that you were able to earn such high marks amidst the difficult circumstances we have all faced during the Covid-19 pandemic. Your resilience impresses us all.
With best wishes, and with hopes that your achievement this semester will impact your own trajectory, at Furman and beyond, in meaningful ways.
