For more than a century, Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) has brought hope and empowerment to our nation’s youth by creating and supporting meaningful one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite young people’s power and potential. Even with such a compelling mission, BBBS of the Upstate still has over 100 youth waiting to be matched to a mentor.

To help narrow that volunteer gap, our team created Little Adventures, Big Fun to attract volunteers, retain current mentors, and enhance those one-to-one relationships. Team members used their diverse network of contacts to secure community partnerships and create a BBBS Passport, a booklet filled with a wide range of activities and adventures that allow Bigs and Littles to explore the Upstate and create memories together throughout the year.

The Little Adventures, Big Fun passport and keepsake eliminates the programming pressure on Bigs, allows Bigs and Littles to tailor their experience to their own interests and passions, and creates a foundation of local partnerships that can be renewed each year.
