Furman has one of the few programs in the United States that provides funding to students for summer internship and research experiences who would otherwise receive little or no payment.
To be considered for these fellowships, you must first obtain either a full-time (i.e., 35-40 hours/week for at least 8 weeks) summer internship with an organization or a research position working with a faculty member at another university/institute.
