Venture Fellows Program
The Venture Fellows Program is a four-year, paid leadership and venture development experience for students who want to build, lead, and create. Through hands-on experience with The Hill Institute programs, mentorship and leadership development from the Hill Institute team, and opportunities to lead real initiatives, Fellows build the skills, confidence, and network to turn ideas into action. As students progress, they advance into the Venture Studio, where they work alongside founders, mentors, and industry leaders to develop and launch a venture of their own.
Furman's Next Big Idea
Furman's Next Big Idea is a high-energy innovation challenge where students collaborate in cross-disciplinary teams to solve meaningful problems, develop creative solutions, and bring bold ideas to life. Whether tackling real-world challenges or working alongside industry partners, participants gain hands-on experience in innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving, no startup experience required.
Clemens Angel Analyst Fellowship
The Clemens Angel Analyst Fellowship, the first of its kind among national liberal arts and sciences colleges, equips students for successful careers in venture capital, private equity, finance, or analytics.
Students interested in careers or experiences in business analytics, consulting, investment banking and venture capital are encouraged to apply.
Rinker Paladin Pitch Competition
The Rinker Paladin Pitch is an exciting event that showcases the innovative ideas of four student finalists who will pitch their new venture ideas to a panel of judges and a diverse audience of students, faculty, alumni, and community leaders.
Students compete to take home the $10,000 Johnny Flynn Award to support launching their entrepreneurial venture.
Innovation Academy
The Innovation Academy is a one-week, immersive experience designed to introduce high school students to the dynamic world of entrepreneurship and innovation.
Following this, our program provides specialized consulting training, preparing students for a rewarding 4-week engagement as consultants for local early-stage startups, where they put their newly acquired skills into real-world practice.
