Furman University processes transcript requests for all current and former students through a partnership with Parchment. The online order form allows students to request secure official transcripts electronically or official hard copies of their transcripts. All payments are due at the time of order with a credit or debit card.
When creating your Parchment account, we recommend using an email to which you will have long-term access, like your personal email account.
Questions can be directed to the Enrollment Services office at [email protected] or 864-294-2030.
Furman University will not accept transcript requests via phone, mail, fax, or email.

Tracking information on orders is available on your Parchment account dashboard.
If there is a hold on your account that prevents the release of your transcript, you will receive an automated email notification from Parchment.
For current, active students, if the hold is related to a financial obligation, you can review your outstanding balance in Workday and make a payment through Nelnet.
Former students with an outstanding balance must contact Enrollment Services to set up a payment option.
If holds are not resolved within 30 days of placing the order, the order will be canceled.
Questions about a transcript hold can be directed to Enrollment Services at [email protected] or by calling 864-294-2030.
Furman University does not provide unofficial transcripts. If a student needs an unofficial transcript, they may opt to send an official electronic transcript to themselves through Parchment.
A Furman University transcript will only list courses completed through Furman University. If a student needs a transcript for courses for which they received transfer credit, they must request a transcript from the school of record/originating institution.
