Our learning communities provide a unique experience that allows students to live together and study a common area of interest. We have three programs—Engaged Living, the Greenbelt Community and language houses—that are available to residents. Each of these housing options encourages residents to meet new people in a close-knit community, and take an in-depth look at a particular topic.

Engaged Living: The First-Year Experience provides freshman residents with an easy transition into college life by giving you immediate academic support and a sense of camaraderie.
Greenbelt Community
Focused on sustainable living, the Greenbelt Community is our one-year program designed to cultivate emerging student leaders who are interested in exploring and living a sustainable lifestyle.
Language Houses
Study a new language or culture by living in a language house. You'll live in North Village, where you'll be challenged to speak only in your foreign language.
