Study Away Becomes Summer Research Project

Rahul Isaac '15 and Danny Rivers '17 participated in the 2014 Math and the Mouse program and continued their curiosity about the Traveling Salesman Problem into a collaborative summer research project. Watch the video to hear Rahul talk about his experience.

Math and the Mouse Alumni Work for Disney

Jamey McDowell '17 (MatM '14) and Molly Petersen '18 (MatM '16) both separately participated in Math and the Mouse, pursued a graduate degree in Business Analytics at Wake Forest, and secured employment with The Walt Disney Company after grad school. Both Jamey and Molly spoke to various Math and the Mouse cohorts as alumni guest speakers working as data analysts. They ran into the professors at the Disney Data Analytics Conference in 2019.

Study Away Becomes Summer Research Project

Louisa Brown '24 and Lily Feingold '25 participated in the 2022 Math and the Mouse program. They worked on a data-centric summer research project studying the impact of attraction downtime on crowd distribution and wait times.
