The Intergroup Dialogue Program at Furman is a collaborative effort between Student Life and Academic Affairs to provide students, faculty and staff with a range of unique dialogue-based experiences. This includes the Dins Dialogue workshops, credit-bearing courses (IGD 101), facilitator training and more. Drawing from interdisciplinary research on social identity, conflict and communication, participants develop skills to engage with one another across difference in ways that promote curiosity, collaboration and creativity.
