COVID Guidelines for Non-Residential Participants

Participants must complete the following documentation prior to arrival.

Participants will be provided approved face coverings and are required to wear them at all times indoors, unless eating or drinking or participating in aerobic activity.

Participants must provide EITHER:

  • Proof (hard copy) of completed vaccination (e.g., two weeks after receiving both doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson); OR
  • Proof of a negative nucleic amplification-based molecular diagnostic test for SARS-CoV-2 (RT-PCR or NAAT) administered no sooner than 5 days prior to arrival to campus. A rapid antigen test will not be accepted. SC DHEC offers free clinics near the campus frequently providing a 24-hour turnaround for results.

Participants must practice physical distancing as outlined by their program coordinator.

Participants must follow all guidance and signage on campus.

Participants must screen for the following symptoms on a daily basis, and immediately report any symptoms to their program coordinator. DO NOT COME TO CAMPUS IF SICK OR POSITIVE FOR COVID-19. Refer to COVID Procedures for Symptomatic or Exposed Participants.

  • Fever of 100.4˚ or higher
  • Chills
  • Difficulty breathing/shortness of breath
  • Body ache
  • New or persistent cough
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea

No outside food is permitted. All meals must be consumed at the Dining Hall or catered through Bon Appetit.

Off-site trips and activities are not permitted.

Participants may be sent home without any refunds for failing to comply with these guidelines.

Any camp or conference may be canceled or modified due to COVID-19 and no refunds will be issued due to this risk.
