Important fall semester updates

Dear Furman Students, Faculty, Staff and Families,

We look forward to welcoming students in person and virtually when the fall semester begins in just a couple of weeks. The Fall Semester Planning Team along with other faculty and staff have been working tirelessly to finalize our plans and prepare for the arrival of new and returning students on campus and online.

We have also added a lot of new information to the Furman Focused website this week, and wanted to draw your attention in particular to these important updates:

We also wanted to remind you of the virtual town halls we are holding next week for new and returning students and their families, and faculty and staff. You may register and learn more here.

Students, if you have not already done so, please submit your Fall Student Return Plan by August 10.

More information on the fall semester, including guidelines for health and safety and details about academics, classrooms and labs, is available on the Furman Focused website, which we will continue to update throughout the semester. Please check this site and your email regularly for the latest information.

Thank you, and be safe.

Sincerely,

Ken Peterson, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost
Connie Carson, Vice President for Student Life
