Furman Focused update
We have had a successful week after spring break and can’t believe graduation is just seven weeks away. This will be our final weekly Furman Focused update, unless the campus or local community conditions warrant another one down the road.
There were 0 positive cases reported this past week by the Earle Student Health Center (ESHC) among students on campus and 0 positive employee cases reported by Human Resources. The Furman Focused Dashboard was updated yesterday.
The dashboard will no longer be updated after this week. If it becomes necessary, the dashboard will be updated and restored to the website.
The Furman Focused website will continue to be the source for COVID-19 guidance for the remainder of the spring semester. The Furman Focused email account will continue to be monitored, and our community can continue to submit COVID-related questions and concerns to email@example.com.
Continue to report COVID-19 symptoms and isolate if positive or symptomatic
All protocols for contact tracing, isolation and quarantine remain the same. Students and employees who have tested positive, as well as those who are symptomatic but not yet tested, should immediately self-isolate, remain in their campus residence or at home and submit a LiveSafe Health Survey or contact the Earle Student Health Center (students) or Human Resources (employees).
Furman administrators and health professionals will continue to monitor COVID-19 conditions in our community. While the COVID Response Committee (CRC) and the Public Health and Safety Advisory Group (PHSAG) have significantly reduced COVID-19-related management activities, either or both groups may reactivate should conditions change. If it becomes necessary, previous mitigation protocols may be reinstated, and new mitigation protocols may be created.
Once again, a sincere thanks to our entire community for coming together these last two years to care for one another.
If you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
