Furman is home to six national fraternities and seven national sororities, including chapters from the Interfraternity Council, the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and the Panhellenic Council. Each chapter provides academic and social support to its members, helping students make friends, develop leadership skills, and serve their local community. Interfraternity Council
The Interfraternity Council is the governing body of fraternities at Furman.

National Pan-Hellenic Council
Furman currently recognizes two National Pan-Hellenic Council organizations.

Panhellenic Council
The Panhellenic Council works to uphold our community's standards, organize recruitment, raise awareness of issues impacting women, and create educational programming.
