Furman has a dynamic Fraternity and Sorority Life community of 13 chapters that comprises 34% of the student population.An investment in fraternity or sorority membership provides academic support, leadership experiences, career networking, civic engagement opportunities, and the benefits of lifelong friendship. Community Service & Impact

  • Raised $103,950.24 for national and local philanthropic organizations in 2024-2025.
  • Completed 4,357 service hours in the greater Greenville community in 2024-2025.

Our Organizations

Furman is home to six national fraternities and seven national sororities, including chapters from the Interfraternity Council, the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and the Panhellenic Council. Each chapter provides academic and social support to its members, helping students make friends, develop leadership skills, and serve their local community.
