Remote Ready Instructional Technology Demonstrations

Most University classroom teaching stations have been upgraded to include remote teaching technologies. Learning Technology Services will be hosting In-person and remote demonstrations July 29 – August 6.  Faculty interested in a demonstration of the new features are invited to sign up for a session.

The FDC has developed a self-paced planning process around flexible course design in Moodle (learn more here) and is updating our web resources to create streamlined information to support your planning for the unique circumstances of the fall semester. We encourage you to participate in our fall planning process and will alert you as additional support resources are available.

Moodle Course Open Online: Redesign with Flex in Mind

Moving a course online involves much more than simply adapting your person-to-person content and activities for an online platform. From June 3rd-19th, a cohort of colleagues in this 4-week series  of self-guided planning tasks and interactive synchronous sessions will work through a step-by-step process designed to build a thoughtful, pedagogically sound online course informed by the transformative power of liberal learning.
