Furman students to engage in career exploration and professional development by visiting top companies across the nation through Paladin Career Treks. On these Treks we visit 2-4 organizations in a specific industry and host a networking event with alumni in that area. Visits to organizations may include alumni panels, facility tours, presentations by human resources professionals, and networking opportunities that allow students to learn about career paths and to connect with professionals. Intracity transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals are provided and scholarships are available for students with demonstrated financial need.
How to Apply
Students submit applications through Handshake in order to be considered.
A selection committee reviews all applications and selects the trek participants. All applicants are notified via email of their acceptance status.
If selected, students must:
- Complete and submit a commitment-to-participate form
- Attend all mandatory pre-and-post trek meetings
