August Commencement

Ceremony

  • The August commencement ceremony for undergraduate candidates will be held in Hartness Pavilion (attached to the Dining Hall) at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026. 
  • Graduates will assemble in the Lobby of the Dining Hall (in front of Blend & Bowl) at 2:45 p.m. for ceremony instructions. 
  • Tickets are not required for ceremony guests.
  • A reception for graduates and guests will follow the ceremony in Hartness Pavilion until 4:00 p.m.

 

Regalia

  • You will need regalia to participate in the commencement ceremony.
  • If you have not purchased your regalia, please visit or contact the Bell Tower Bookstore to make your purchase. Their number is 864-294-2164.

Furman will host its spring commencement exercises on May 9th, 2026, at 7:30 pm, in Paladin Stadium.

All graduates and degree candidates will be asked to register for the May 9th, 2026 ceremony. Registration is now open (3/10).
