The Furman Department of Art hosts its annual 24-hour student design competition every January. It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to gain real world experience in branding, marketing, design, digital media, advertising and so much more! Undergraduates in various majors come together, working as a team, to design and pitch a masterpiece product to a panel of professional judges in hopes of taking home a gold, silver or bronze monetary prize.  Unique, fun, Furman!

How it Works:

Teams of 3 Furman undergraduates are paired with a professional mentor.  These teams are tasked with 24 hours to come up with a solution to a creative brief.  Teams must present their work to a panel of judges who are comprised of design professionals from the Southeast.  Judges will provide critical feedback for the students. Students are awarded with Gold, Silver and Bronze monetary awards, along with the coveted Most Innovative Award.
