An Innovative Solution
The idea for Furman’s Thriving Communities Advisory Team (TCAT) is based on a proposal from Associate Dean Cynthia King; Associate Dean and Director of the Center for Inclusive Communities Franklin Ellis; and the co-chairs of the President’s Thriving Communities Initiatives Committee, Robyn Andrews and Lisa Knight.
This innovative shared leadership approach takes advantage of the strong campus relationships already in place and focuses their efforts on planning, coordinating and assessing our progress toward a thriving community.
