Ministro

Ministro means “To Serve” in Latin. Drawing from shared lessons of humble beginnings in the lives of our families and friend, this group’s project focused on working with the South Carolina Primary Health Care Association to leverage the resources of the group to gather supplies to assist migrant workers and their families. The Mission of the SCMHP is to improve the health status of migrant and seasonal farm workers and their families in South Carolina by providing and promoting culturally and linguistically competent health care and health related services. The project focused on involving local school districts and schools, contacting major retailers and vendors in order to solicit donations, and writing letters to health care providers soliciting donations and partnering with local hospitals to secure first aid supplies.
