In the Wonkblog of The Washington Post, an article headlined “The economics of adultery” examined whether there was any correlation between unfaithfulness and a faltering economy. Among those quoted in the article was Furman sociologist Christin Munsch, whose research could shed some light on why adultery and the economy seem to be connected.
