The economics of adultery

Did the financial crisis of 2008 drive married couples to adultery? In the Wonkblog of The Washington Post, an article headlined “The economics of adultery” examined whether there was any correlation between unfaithfulness and a faltering economy. Among those quoted in the article was Furman sociologist Christin Munsch, whose research could shed some light on why adultery and the economy seem to be connected.
