Greenville Chamber honors community, business leaders
At the 133rd meeting of the Greenville Chamber, several awards were presented to individuals with Furman University ties. The Buck Mickel Leadership Award was presented to Judge Merl Code, Furman trustee emeritus, for his role as co-chair of the Race Equity and Economic Mobility (REEM) Commission. The Young Professional of the Year Award was presented to Furman communication studies and political science alumna Kamber Parker ’17, interim executive director of Greenville Area Parkinson Society and founder/owner of The YoPro Know.
