Furman’s Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship will be a key part of a planned revitalization project by Hartness Development. The project, a large-scale innovation district called Crescent Startup Community, will be located on 7 acres on the north side of Greenville next to Poinsett Highway.

“Furman’s future requires an innovative Furman, so it’s only natural that we would be an integral part of this exciting Crescent Startup Community,” said Furman University President Elizabeth Davis at the announcement.
