Opera singer Sarah Reese is a 1971 graduate of Furman’s music program.

Opera singer Sarah Reese, a 1971 graduate of Furman’s music program, has enchanted audiences in concert halls around the world. But she has since returned home to Greenville, where she teaches music at Pendleton High School and chairs the school’s fine arts department. She will give a special gift to the community on Dec. 14 when she speaks—and sings—at the annual Holiday Benefit Breakfast for A Child’s Haven, a nonprofit organization that provides services for children. Reese was profiled by The Greenville News.
