Riley Institute helps with new approach to education

new-tech-logoTwo of South Carolina’s poorest school districts have teamed up with Furman to offer high school students a new way to learn.  Scott’s Branch and Colleton County high schools have adopted the New Tech education model, and Furman’s Riley Institute hopes the new approach can boost the state’s public education system. Both the Charleston Post and Courier and The State newspapers ran recent stories about the innovative efforts at the schools.
