Students may schedule virtual appointments with the Internship Office and the Malone Center for Career Engagement to explore career options, develop resumes and LinkedIn profiles, practice interview skills, and search for internship and job opportunities. Virtual internships, virtual informational interviews, virtual career fairs, and additional Furman-sponsored professional development programs will be offered, including Furman Career Connections on February 3rd, providing students with the opportunity to connect with top-tier employers and alumni.
Students interested in pre-health or pre-law careers may schedule virtual appointments with advisors in the Office of Pre-Professional Advising. This office will also offer virtual programming throughout the semester.
We also encourage students to begin making plans for summer and consider applying for a Summer Internship Fellowship or a Summer Research Fellowship.
The university will closely monitor the evolving circumstances related to COVID-19, along with rapidly developing scientific knowledge and medical resources, to determine the appropriateness for adjustments and contingencies.
