Kelsey Hample, associate professor of economics, has incorporated AI into her teaching, utilizing AI with student research journal prompts. At an FDC-sponsored Lunch & Learn, she will share with the Furman community about how her students record their use of AI tools during a semester-long, scaffolded research project. To engage fully in the workshop, attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet when attending.
This is part of the FDC’s multi-session program “AI in Action,” however attendance at the second and third sessions is not an expectation for those joining the conversation (but gladly encouraged).
Anyone able to attend all three sessions will be eligible to win a rare signed hard copy of ChatGPT Assignments to Use in Your Classroom Today signed by author Kevin Yee.
