What type of summer staff positions are available?
Being a Resident Assistants (RAs) in the summer is a little bit different. You still promote a sense of community in campus housing and act as peer helpers to connect students to campus resources, as well as, enforce Housing and Residence Life policies and procedures in campus housing. However, your main role is customer service and assisting with summer housing check-ins/outs and orientation housing.
Office Assistants work in the Office of Housing and Residence Life. This role focuses on quality customer service and being comfortable speaking on the phone. You will assist parents, returning students, and new students with concerns and questions.
Housing Operations Assistants focus on the physical spaces. You will inspect rooms for damages and identify maintenance issues. An eye for detail and focus are required to assist with getting rooms ready for move-in.
