McBee Hall is located near our spring-fed lake. It is a co-ed residence hall. Each room shares a bathroom suite with another room.
Built in 1961, McBee Hall was remodeled in 2013. The residence hall is named after Vardry McBee, a civic-minded individual who donated land to Greenville and a number of churches and schools in 1815, including the Greenville Woman’s College.
The hall is among seven residence halls that make up the Clark Murphy Housing Complex, which features some of the best views of Furman Lake.
