McBee Hall is a suite-style hall that primarily houses sophomores located near our spring-fed lake. It is a co-ed residence hall where each room shares a bathroom suite with another room of the same gender.

Built in 1961, McBee Hall was remodeled in 2013. The residence hall is named after Vardry McBee, a civic-minded individual who donated land to Greenville and a number of churches and schools in 1815, including the Greenville Woman’s College.

The hall is among seven residence halls that make up the Clark Murphy Housing Complex, which features some of the best views of Furman Lake.
