Haynsworth Hall is located near our spring-fed lake, and houses male residents who are Greek and non-Greek. Each room shares a bathroom suite with another room.
Built in 1961, Haynsworth Hall was remodeled in 2011. The residence hall is named after Harry John Haynsworth, a former board member who was part of Furman’s decision to merge with Greenville Woman’s College in 1933.
The hall is among seven residence halls that make up the Clark Murphy Housing Complex, which features some of the best views of Furman Lake.
