Chiles Hall is located near our spring-fed lake and houses upperclassmen residents. It is a co-ed residence hall, but female and male residents live on different floors with separate bath facilities.
The residence hall is named after Marguerite Chiles, a Furman graduate who became the school’s vice president for student affairs. The hall is among seven residence halls that make up the Clark Murphy Housing Complex, which features some of the best views of Furman Lake.
