Furman boasts an award-winning and nationally ranked mock trial program open to all students. Our teams compete in prestigious tournaments against the nation’s top schools. The coaching staff are local lawyers, several of whom are alums of the program.
Our members portray the roles of attorneys and witnesses in competitions, using their analytical and public speaking skills, and an in-depth knowledge of trial advocacy techniques. These tournaments are overseen by the American Mock Trial Association.
