The Furman Sportsmedicine Center in partnership with Piedmont Orthopaedic Associates offers three Sports Medicine Fellowship positions each year to qualified Athletic Trainers.  The Fellowship Program provides the opportunity for young professionals to work and train within a comprehensive sports medicine model encompassing athletic health care at a Division I level, orthopedics, and rehabilitation.

Each Fellow is given the responsibility for direct athletic team coverage within the Intercollegiate Athletic Program of Furman University. The Fellows will perform a rotation within the practice of Piedmont Orthopaedics.  Fellows will also provide assistance within the University’s outpatient rehabilitation facility.

The Fellowship positions run August-May each year.  Applications are accepted each May for the following year.  Qualified individuals should submit their cover letter, resume, and references to:
