I earned my Bachelor's degree from Furman in Special Education in 1981. Then I earned my Master's degree from Furman in 1986. I've taught students with special needs in public schools for over 30 years. I was Nationally Board Certified in 2002 as an Exceptional Needs Specialist. When I retired in 2007, I started teaching education courses for Furman. I like to travel, hike, knit, crochet, spin yarn, and read.
