Mark A. Kaiser

Mark Kaiser is an accomplished corporate executive, seasoned board director, and strategic advisor specializing in corporate governance, innovation, and large-scale growth strategies.  

Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Kaiser has been a driving force in corporate development, overseeing the acquisition of more than 100 companies and designing over 50 Fortune 500 corporate venture capital funds, innovation centers, and business incubators. 

Prior to his advisory career, he served as CEO of high-growth, investor-backed companies ranging from $40 million to $1 billion in revenue. His leadership tenures include heading Cendian Corporation, a leading chemical-industry logistics provider, and Caredata, a pioneering healthcare data and analytics firm. Under his leadership, his companies twice earned Forbes magazine’s prestigious "Fast Tech 50" award. 

Mr. Kaiser began his career as a software developer at IBM before co-founding Jobscope Corporation, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software company dedicated to mid-sized manufacturers. 

Deeply committed to institutional advancement and community leadership, Mr. Kaiser lends his expertise to prominent educational and cultural organizations.   In addition to serving as a Trustee at Furman, Mark has served as a Trustee of the Woodruff Arts Center (Atlanta) and Chair of the Board of the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF).

Mr. Kaiser earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Furman University.   He and his wife, Anne, divide their time between Greenville and Liberty, South Carolina, and Leland, Michigan.
